An interior design studio in South Oxfordshire needed a workplace that served their particular requirements
For one South Oxfordshire-based interior design studio, the solution to finding a workplace lay in a peaceful corner of farmland. We worked with our clients to design and build a cabin, the first part of which was to establish the requirements of the space.
A large amount of desk and storage space was extremely important, as was a farmland view to take in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. To make sure that the new cabin used the great outdoors to the best advantage, we put in central sliding doors that created the feeling of being outside, and included an open-air space for warmer days.
For storage, our team made a broad shelving unit extending across the whole width of the workspace. It's a sizeable sorting area for crucial samples, in addition to working as a nice place for documents and stationery.
And then there’s the kitchen and WC, which gave consideration to our clients' work habits to supply the best achievable comfort and usability.
