NOT A LUXURY,
BUT A NECESSITY
OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT"
Ayr was created to be more than a unique cabin company. It is based on a philosophy we have and the reason why we do what we do.
For us, it's about looking after our own wellbeing and that of our family; to enjoy time with those we love; to get outside; to have adventures.
Our cabins are built for this. Big moments in life matter, but it's the small ones that make it worth living.
The first Ayr cabin came to be when Stuart, our co-founder, needed a space to live with his family whilst building his home. Keen to stay onsite, he worked to create a 10m x 3m sanctuary that overlooked the rolling hills of Oxfordshire. Aware that this could be at least a year of living in a small space, every detail was crafted to ensure the wellbeing of his young family during this time of change.
Finally, when the time came to move out, it was bittersweet as the cabin had changed their way of living. Since moving out, the cabin has continued to bring joy to family and friends who have stayed; a few of whom now have an Ayr cabin of their own!
